Education Presentations

Let our highly trained educators bring science to life with hands-on presentations, experiments, and live animal encounters. Programs last approximately 30 minutes and are designed around Georgia’s State Learning Standards (Pre K- 12). Maximize your field trip by booking a visit to Thronateeska on the same day! With science-based activities at both locations, the Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska complement each other well. The two locations are also less than 10 minutes apart on foot along the Riverfront Trail. Book a program for your visit to the Flint RiverQuarium or bring the RiverQuarium to your classroom, event space, or gathering. Contact our Education Curator to reserve your desired date and time.

Program Pricing

  • On-site presentations:  $4.50 per person 
  • Off-site presentations:  $100, plus $1 per mile round-trip traveling fees
