Regularly scheduled programs each Saturday and Sunday are designed to provide opportunities for our visitors to get up-close and personal with our animals. Blue hole dive shows, aviary feedings, tank talks, and animal chats all give a more in-depth look at individual exhibits and animal behavior.
Saturdays & Sundays
11:30 am – Aviary Feedings
Help us feed the birds and learn more about our winged animal ambassadors.
2 pm – Blue Hole Interpretation with Dive Show
Learn all about the mysterious Blue Hole from our education team. If volunteers are available and weather is permitting, you can also watch divers hand-feed the fish during a live dive show!
3:30 pm – Tank Talk or Animal Chat
Take a closer look at individuals animals and their habitats with different presentations each day. There’s also plenty of time for questions and answers with our program presenters.
Second Friday of each month at 10 am
Parents and pre-schoolers can visit the RiverQuarium for a special sharing time that includes story-time, an activity and a closer look at the animals at the RiverQuarium. It's FREE with your RiverQuarium membership or with regular admission. Participants are welcome to enjoy the RiverQuarium on their own after the session.
