Award-winning, internationally-renowned architect Antoine Predock, designed the Flint RiverQuarium as a uniquely integrated facility with exhibits that wrap around a spectacular, open-air, 90-foot diameter recreated Blue Hole Spring exhibition. Flint RiverQuarium visitors observe the exhibits from a gradually descending pathway. Along the way, they experience the unique ecosystems of the Flint River watershed through a variety of interactive exhibits featuring more than 100 species of native aquatic life. The Cypress Creek aviary also gives visitors an up-close look at a wide variety of birds found in the surrounding wetland habitat, as well as migratory birds who use the river as a major flyway.
