World Oceans Day is a global day of ocean celebration and collaboration for a better future. This year, people all over our blue planet are celebrating with the theme Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet.” Organizations and individuals around the world are promoting prevention of plastic ocean pollution with events in their communities, special announcements, and everything in between! Join us at the Flint RiverQuarium for an afternoon of fun as we learn all about how to keep our oceans healthy. Join in with hands-on activities, try your hand at some crafts, and take the Better Bag Challaenge to reduce your plastic bag consumption.

Octonauts & the Pelicans

The OCTONAUTS are a team of undersea adventurers who are always ready to dive into action! Their mission: to explore new underwater worlds, rescue amazing sea creatures and protect the ocean. When a floating garbage patch endangers a flock of pelicans and other sea creatures, the Octonauts and the birds work together to clean it up.
